Jen and I got in line around 11am. There were about 20 people in front of us -- tents and all. Nick came out a couple times to talk on the phone. Before Nick & AJ came out front, we're like, alright where the hell is Howie? Cause we'd already seen AJ, Nick, & Brian. I had to pee really bad and I'm like, "Jen, if he doesn't show up in 10 minutes, I'm walking." He didn't and we started walking. We get across the street and hear everyone freaking out & screaming so we run through traffic back across and we see Nick & AJ heading back in. We were so pissed. I blame Howie. He made us wait to pee and we went at the wrong time I still managed a side pic of Nick & AJ though. After that, AJ came out to have a smoke He came to the gates and shook hands with everyone from beginning to end. Said hi to all of us, and I got some pictures of course. He was really sweet!
After that it was just a lot of waiting in the cold. It was so worth it though! We ended up with 2nd row. The concert was amazing. Seriously they sounded AWESOME. They did 10 songs. I don't know what order. They started with AOW and ended with Everybody. YCLG sounded soooo great! I wish I would've gotten longer videos, but honestly I didn't want to watch them through a digicam for long. I really do like the new dance for Everybody. It was pretty damn cool.
A couple of classic stage moments. Howie was saying about how he just got married & everyone cheered. He showed off his ring and than he grabs his crotch and says, "Sorry ladies this is off limits now." (or something along those lines) and he's like, "You still got 1 or 2 left though." and he pointed towards AJ & Nick. I couldn't believe it lmao Howie acting "bad" is so strange! Jen bought this shirt for Nick and she tells my sister to throw it on stage. She's like, "Just aim right for his head," JOKINGLY, but my sister took it seriously and it hit Nick right in the head. LMFAO! You should've seen his face. He was laughing though. It was great. All in all the concert was awesome! Everyone was sooo energetic! We even had the whole, "Backstreet Boys, Backstreet Boys," chant going a few times. Really loud & really cool fans, I was happy and I'm sure the Boys were.
Ater the concert, a friend texts me and tells me what hotel the Boys are at. When we got there, Howie was at a table with some dudes. We all walked by and said hi and waited at the bar for him to finish. We got pictures with him & congratulated him on his marriage. Gosh I'll never get over how nice Howie is. He remembered my sister & I from August - I thought that was so cool. We were wondering if Nick was gonna come down, but he texted a friend of ours saying that he wants to "jump off the wagon" or something so I guess he didn't wanna drink that night. We're chilling in the bar, talking to a JIVE executive. I saw a few girls by the elevator and I look and their taking pix with AJ so we darted down there. He was so cute. He didn't have shoes on. He took a pic with me and I told him I loved his nails. They were painted black with white tips. He said "Thanks! I did 'em like this for Howie's wedding." LOL! Told him the album was amazing and so was the performance and he gave me the most sincere, "Thank you." Aww...
I had a blast! I can't wait till they tour next year. Hearing the new songs was so great!
